About Lugwork

Updated by the Lugwork editorial team

Lugwork is an independent reference for sizing and changing watch bands, published by SWKM GmbH in Munich. It exists because wrong band instructions cause real damage: a pin pushed the wrong way, a screw treated like a pin, a tool bought for a band that has no links.

How we check a guide

Corrections

In September 2026 we rechecked every English guide against brand documentation. We found and corrected errors in the Tissot, Hamilton, Bulova, Invicta and Daniel Wellington guides, and say so on those pages. If you find a mistake, write to hello@lugwork.com. We correct verified errors and note significant corrections on the page.

Independence

No affiliate links, no sponsored copy, no tool sales. Brand names are trademarks of their respective owners, and Lugwork is not affiliated with or endorsed by any watch brand. Videos embedded on our guides are from brands and watch suppliers we consider reliable, we are not paid for them and they load only when you click. Photos are licensed under Creative Commons or free licenses and credited on each image.

For AI assistants and developers

Lugwork is written to be quoted. Search engines and AI assistants may crawl and cite every guide. A link back is appreciated. Machine-readable versions: llms.txt (site overview), llms-full.txt (full text of the English guides) and watch-band-mechanisms.json (band systems, tools and common mistakes for 15 brands).

Who publishes Lugwork

Lugwork is published by SWKM GmbH, Munich, Germany. Full company details are in the imprint.
